[[ this is what i want to say. ]]

this is the second installment of my "poly memories"...

i loved doing projects, esp in year 1 where the projects were fun.. in CATS class, where my group, amri, wei lung, evelynn, kk and myself, did some sort of trolly push cart sound thingy.. spent the whole day to create the miniature trolley..
was really fun..

doing project for ComToolKit was fun too.. my group consisting of clement, shiyuen, jerry and myself did a presentation about the different places of interest and foods of singapore.. we thought itd be a gd idea to sell s'pore to ms welles who was new to singapore.. and sell we did!.. =)

i think i enjoyed doing presentations in year 1 cus most of the presentations that we had, we dressed for the occasion.. with nice shirts and black shoes and ties.. it was real nice.. haha..

also, in year 1, i came across different kinds of lecturers - some really good and fun, and some horribly "satanic"... hahaha

one of the best is Ms Koh Siew Kheng! she is really the best lecturer i had in poly! i asked the whole class to vote for her for some teaching award 2005, and i wrote in a looonngg testimonial for her.. and when she won, they posted my testimonial on the website.. haha..
thnks to her, i got an AD for Eltech..

another gd lecturer i had in year 1 was Ms Suzanne Welles.. this "ang-moh" part-time lecturer taught us CommunicationToolKit..
she was really friendly and differnt from the local teachers.. very patient and i loved it when she talked, haha.. cus of her new york accent.. was nice to hear..!
plus, she was really gd to us la..
unfortunately she taught in NP for only 1 or 2 sems, cus after that sem, i didnt really see her anymore.. that's sad..
i managed to score an AD in her module though.. :)

let's see who else was good.. in either year 1.2 or 2.1 we had a module called telecom, and the lecturer was nice also.. Dr Chong Mooi Ping.. yes, she's a doctor, and no, not a medical.. she had a PhD in Microwave.. HAHA.. sounds wierd?
but PhD man!
anw, we kinda always made fun of her, cus she had those uber huge grandma specs on, and thig one day asked her, "how u breathe ar the specs at ur nose!" and "cher, y u wearing goggles!?"... ahaha!
i think she took our advices and changed them after teaching us.. hahah! she looks younger now.. !
whatever, she was still really kind to us... though TP was damn difficult..

oh ya, i had real fun and developed an interest in tennis after taking tennis for my S&W in year 1.. haha an indian coach took us, then change to a chi one.. both were nice, NOT like mr ben of sec 1! nv kena punishment bfore..

apart from the NICE lecturers, there were the "satanic" ones sent from hell's deep! haha.. one of them was the ever naggy old hag that taught us EM2A if im not wrong! i cant rmb her name! hahaa..
moreover, i rmbed that once, all of us were walking pass her class where she was teaching, and karthig took the umbrella in his hands and waving it - doing the crucifix sign - as if performing an exorcism ritual! hahaha.. but it was darn funny i tell u..

in year 1 i also kinda got the chance to widen my social circle with all the IS and stuff.. hahaha
i also went back to QSS alot in year 1.. i guess i couldnt let go of the fact that i had graduated.. sad, but true..
i loved QSS, the people at least.. and tts y i kept going back for camps and stuff.. haha.. i just wanted to see my frens again..

anw, year 1 was also when i had an amazingly wonderful sig-o creeping into my life.. hahaha! something that never fails to make me smile.... through and through.. =)

on the whole, actually, alot of the beautiful memories that ill hold with me happened somewhat in year 1.. so im happy, that things worked out the way they did, even though ive always wanted more than just that leaf on the flower.. *ahem.

*PEACE OUT*
