this is my avenue

omg, i still cant believe that i just returned from the Maroon 5 concert!!! wwwoooooooo!!!! HAHA..

ok, so for those who's asking so how was it?

it was, in one word, AWESOME!!

surprisingly adam levine's voice sounded really really good!!
compared to when Maroon 5 first came into the scene, where adam was still trying to find that unique voice..
now, its totally different la..

his voice sounds soo nice and polished, JUST like the CD!! we really enjoyed the concert man!!

we were super excited the moment we were there ~ we kept checking our cameras, and i kept asking syaz to take out her cam, cus i didnt wanna miss a single opportunity to take a pic!

and thank you syaz, for bringing your camera!

ok we got to take a few vids during the concert, during songs like "Wont Go Home Without You", "This Love" and "Sunday Morning", and a few others! i was secretly taking the vids la.. hahaa.. but it was worth it!

and i got to take alot of nice shots of the whole thing!! woooottsss!!!

ok, we all agreed that the concert was really fun and stuff, but there was one problem - the concert was TOO SHORT!!
it was only like 1 hr 15 mins! cus it started ard 830pm and ended at 945pm!

like everyone was so shocked la.. that it ended already! we were quite stunned.. cus they suddenly just bowed, the drummer Matt Flynn threw his drumsticks and they left!
i was like ~ huh?! its over already?!
EVEN Westlife was wayy longer than that lar! they even came back for an encore with 2 songs!!

so we were just sitting there dont know what to do.. were abit clueless, we were thinking mayb they would come back, but like everyone started to leave, and the seats became empty.. haha
that's when we finally realised it was over.. that fast.. 100 bucks..

ok, after recovering from the shock, we went out.. went down the escalator, and as we were walking, we heard slight screaming.. then more people started to scream... i immediately knew it could be the M5 van! cus y would ppl be screaming otherwise?!..

so i ran really fast towards the crowd la! and i think i saw the girls running behind me..
and omg it was the guy's van!! hahaha..
started snapping pics! can see abit only cus their van was half covered.. only can see Matt and Mickey Madden sitting at the back seats!! haha but heck care! still Maroon 5!!

i was really close to the van, like literally touching it, then i went and knocked on the window where Matt was sitting! hahaha and he turned ard and i waved la..
then i got shoo-ed away by the security.. LOL
gd thing still managed to take some "paparazzi-esque" shots! haha..
note that all this while the van was moving slowly, and the cars behind were honking..

i think that i just get star struck la when i see these stars.. cus normally we'd only see them on tv and stuff, and to actually see them up close like that.. even to the point of knocking on their van is surreal!

i told the girls that if that was Michael Jackson, i think id faint! seriously..
ill really faint..
oohh ya! anw, prada told me he's been to a michael jackson concert bfore! and he said it was ard 5 hrs! 5 hrs?! i can imagine la.. he's a real entertainer! M5 only 1.15 hrs lei!

anyhoos, the "directionally challenged" girls - nas and syaz, took us on the wrong bus that was going to bedok mrt instead of bukit merah interchange.. tsk tsk, to trust those 2 with direction...

went there instead, and went to Macs to eat.. then syaz ALMOST got ran over by a bus, and we were kindly driven home by hafiz...

so yeah, today was a wonderful day!!!

im newly in love with Maroon 5's Nothing Last Forever, a song they collaborated with kanye west, which i just found out just now when adam levine told announced!

oh and we got to see quite a number of local stars.. we saw the DJ Jamie Yeo, then got to take pic of the "Deal or No Deal" hottie Andrea Fonseka (she was haawwwttt!!!), Olinda Cho (she sat right in front of rashiqah!! but she soon changed seats cus it was the wrong seat), and we saw Paul Twohill (who thinks that he's THAT popular) and couple more others..

but today's concert was really really good.. and i had my friends to share the experience with!! im a happy camper! =)

today sure beat going for westlife alone! (but it cannot beat westlife as westlife! haha!)

thanks rashiqah, suzana, nasriah, syaz and yana who were there to share fun and the embarrassment of singing and dancing without knowing all the lyrics! HAHA!.. you guys are great lar.. (see im praising you!)
